We’re thrilled to have won the 2023 Pyramid Awards for the 2022 Best Bathroom Renovation in the $25,001 – $50,000 category. These awards, presented by the Metro Harrisburg Builders Association, acknowledge outstanding craftsmanship, design, and excellence within the home building industry.

This Hummelstown residence underwent renovations in the Primary and Hall Bath areas, resulting in remarkable transformations that garnered the esteemed award. These renovations were skillfully executed through strategic updates that tastefully preserved the existing floorplans, effectively addressing the owners’ desires for enhancements.

In the Primary Bath, the platform and jetted tub, which were hardly used and cumbersome, were replaced with an elegant freestanding soaking tub that now takes center stage. We changed the old fiberglass shower to a new tile shower with a frameless glass enclosure. We added luxurious vinyl tiles throughout the bathroom, crafting a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our team kept costs down by retaining the existing cabinetry boxes, but we gave the cabinet doors a modern update and a fresh coat of paint. To elevate the space, we replaced the old laminate surfaces with the exquisite Calacatta Miraggio Quartz, introducing a touch of sophistication.

LED mirrors, boasting integrated dimmers and color controls, introduced abundant illumination and modern functionality. A charming light gray hue now graces the walls, replacing the somber dark maroon that previously overshadowed the space.

The Hall Bath now exudes a similar elegance as the enchanting Calacatta Miraggio Quartz breathes new life into the bathroom. The cabinetry was tastefully transformed with a contemporary touch of color while maintaining its original character. The space underwent a significant makeover with large mirrors, which replaced the previous wall-to-wall mirror and gave the bathroom a fresh and contemporary look. The renovation of this space was finessed with the addition of a calm gray shade of paint, which replaced the stark, blue walls, bringing a newfound tranquility.
